IB & MEDIA ARTS AT ROOSEVELT INTERNATIONAL

IB Middle Years Program

IB Middle Years Programme & Media Arts at Roosevelt
Roosevelt International Middle School is proud to be both an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and a Media Arts Magnet, where global learning and creative expression go hand in hand.

The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) builds curiosity, critical thinking, and compassion by connecting learning across subjects. At Roosevelt, students dive deep into IB Arts and Design—a core part of the MYP framework—where they learn to experiment, problem-solve, and communicate ideas through visual art, music, theatre, and digital media.

As a Media Arts Magnet, Roosevelt amplifies these experiences with hands-on opportunities in film, music production, theatre, radio, publishing, and design. Creativity is not just an elective—it is a lens for learning in every subject. Students learn to analyze the world, imagine possibilities, and design bold solutions.

At Roosevelt, the IB mission and Media Arts vision come together: empowering students to think globally, act locally, and create boldly.
