WE’RE ROOFRIENDS

a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds, recruits volunteers, supports teachers, builds community, and champions opportunities for all students at Roosevelt International Middle School—an IB and Media Arts Magnet School in San Diego’s historic Balboa Park.

RooFriends is governed by a Board of Directors responsible for overseeing monies from fundraisers, managing cash donations, setting annual fundraising targets, and creating short and long-term spending goals to advance the Foundation’s primary objective of supporting the students, teachers, and programs of Roosevelt Middle School.

The Foundation meets monthly during the school year (except December) and once during summer.
For the 2025-2026 school year, our meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm in room 902.

RooFriends Community

RooFriends joins the principal four times a year for RooFriends Community + Principal Town Hall meetings.
For the 2026-2027 school year, our meeting will be held the first Tuesday of September, November, February, and April at 5pm in room 902 (immediately before Foundation Board Meetings).
