TEACHERS WHO FEEL LOVED

When my daughter didn’t make the Flag Football team, she was really disappointed. But JV ended up being such a positive experience! She was able to sharpen her skills, play alongside her classmates, and still be part of the Roosevelt Flag Football program. Most importantly, it gave her the confidence and experience to come back ready to try out again next season!

I loved getting to play with my classmates! The coaches made practices really fun, I got better at my skills, and I discovered that I REALLY like playing QB!

WORLDS BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

SOMETHING TO SHOW UP FOR

. . . [having a jazz program at the school] sends a message that this too is something that belongs to the students, all of them, something that they too could not just play but enjoy and be a part of.

A SENSE OF BELONGING

The district funds none of this.

RooFriends, our school's foundation, foots the bill with the help of generous donations of time and money from families just like yours.

It all comes from donors like you.

I give any time the Teacher Appreciation Committee asks. I want Roosevelt teachers to feel seen, to know that we recognize their hard work, and to feel excited to be a part of this community.

If I paid for [After School Enrichment] privately I’d pay more and drive farther. $200 a year isn’t charity, it’s a bargain.”
— Parent, Class of '27
I’m grateful to support RooFriends because I’ve seen firsthand how much a strong parent foundation adds to the middle school experience. My 6th grader came from an elementary school without after-school activities, so it’s wonderful to see him benefit from such a robust program, while my 8th grader has really blossomed through robotics; having a full-time librarian is another resource I believe is incredibly important for our students. I want to do all I can to support the tireless volunteers and staff who make Roosevelt Middle School such a vibrant, enriching place for every student.
— Parent, Class of '27 and '29
Investing in Roosevelt through sponsorship allows increased visibility for my company, while contributing to programs that give students creative outlets and exposure to new ways of expressing themselves and finding new passions. It’s a perfect match for the farmers market - which is all about bringing community together to experience others passions and creativity through food. Proud to be a Roosevelt sponsor!
